Turkish freighter Hakki Cillioglu was beached by the storm on June 20 or 19 2012 in Pitsunda port, Abkhazia, Black sea. It is understood vessel was moored at berth for refueling, mooring lines broke, and vessel drifted on the beach. Vessel is staying in Abkhazia waters from May 2011, calling Sukhumi port after steering mechanism failure. The crew wasn’t paid for quite a time and now there are only 8 crew on board, vessel ran out of fuel. Nearby Turkish freighter Apsini (IMO 7364601) tried to take Hakki Cillioglu on tow two times, but failed as cables got broke. On the photo Hakki Cillioglu on the beach in Pitsunda area.
