Turkish freighter Erol Senkaya sank in Ionian sea



General cargo vessel Erol Senkaya sank early in the morning May 19 2012 between the island Zakynthos and mainland, Greece, presumably due to cargo shift. Vessel was loaded with 2200 tons of olive seeds. 6 crew are rescued by Greece Coast Guard boat, 4 crew went missing, search is under way. No pollution reported yet. General cargo vessel Erol Senkaya IMO 9296365, dwt 2772, built 2003, flag Turkey, manager YAKAMOZ DENIZCILIK.
