Taiwanese freighter Harmony SW hit the embankment of Kiel Canal

On Jan 12, 2012, around 4 a.m. general cargo vessel Harmony SW ran into the embankment of the Kiel Canal at the passing point Schwartenbek, reports Vessel is en route from Klaipeda, Lithuania, to South Atlantic. Vessel was refloated with the help of two tugs and then taken to Holtenau Roads for inspection. General cargo vessel Harmony SW IMO 9369162, dwt 12616, built 2008, flag Panama, manager SHIH WEI NAVIGATION CO. LTD, Taiwan.
