Product tanker BW Thames alerted Norwegian authorities late in the evening Dec 24 after vessel became disabled due to unidentified problem, and started to drift to coastline northwest of Bergen, in severe storm Dagmar conditions. Luckily, crew managed to fix the problem and informed authorities at 0100 Dec 25, that vessel is under control and regain movement. Tanker was bound for refinery Mongstad, north of Bergen. Storm Dagmar reached in some areas hurricane force, the Norwegian oil installations in the North Sea reported on Christmas waves were up to 20 meter high.
