Polish tanker Amaranth docked in Brest Shipyard after engine failure



Chem tanker Amaranth suffered an engine failure on August 20 or 19 2012 off Brest, en route from Safi Morocco, to Gdansk, Poland. Tanker was docked in CIB Brest Shipyard at around 06:00 UTC August 21 for repairs. Chemical tanker Amaranth IMO 7816484, dwt 5858, built 1980, flag Vanuatu, manager UNIBALTIC SP. Z.O.O., Poland.
