On August 7 fire broke out in a pump room of FPSO (Floating Production and Storage Object) SeaRose, located at the White Rose field about 160 miles east of St.John, off Newfoundland. Fire started at around 17:00 LT and was quickly extinguished by FPSO personnel, resulting in limited damage. Fire was contained to pump room only, no injures reported.
