Bulk carrier Sider Faioch suffered problem transiting Dardanelles



Late at night July 30  bulk carrier Sider Faioch suffered technical problem transiting Dardanelles in Karanflikov area. Sider Faioch was en route from Taman Azov sea to Dakar with cargo of wheat. Vessel reached safety anchorage area under own power and was anchored for repairs and investigation. Vessel resumed voyage presumably in the morning July 31. Bulk carrier Sider Faioch IMO 8602555, dwt 17832, built 1986, flag Italy, manager  Sider Navi S.p.A. Shipping Technical Management.
