Warning to all vessels in Gulf of Oman, Arabian sea, Gulf of Aden and Bab el Bandeb

The MARAD issued warning to all vessels trading in areas of Gulf of Oman, north Arabian sea, Gulf of Aden and Bab el Bandeb Strait. Elevated regional tensions have increased the risk of potential maritime attacks conducted by extremists, says the warning. It is recommended for all vessels anchored, or operating in restricted areas, or at slow speed, to be especially vigilant and report suspicious activity to Navies.
