General cargo vessel Coastal Isle was on passage from Belfast when she struck rocks at the southern tip of the island Bute early on July 2, writes The Buteman (buteman.co.uk). Clyde Coastguard received grounding report just before 6am. Vessel had been hauled off the rocks by a tug, and then Coastal Isle arrived at Greenock. No damage was reported initially.
