Sailing super yacht Eos caught fire on June 30 in Oslo fjord, while being at anchor. Local rescue and firefighting agencies were notified about the fire at 1515 LT. Firefighting was complicated by the position of the yacht and later Eos was moved closer to the shore. At 2015 firefighters reported fire was under control. 18 people on board were evacuated, no injures reported. Reportedly superstructure suffered serious damages. The cause of fire still unknown. Owners of the yacht which is valued some $150 million are world celebrities media tycoon Barry Diller, the founder of Fox and US Broadcastings, and his wife, famous designer Diane von Furstenberg. Luxury sailing (dyna-rig) yacht Eos IMO 9377456, GRT 1500, length 93 meters, built 2006, flag Cayman Islands.
