Turkish m/v Namrun thwarted pirates by fire, killing 3 of them

Turkish bulk carrier Namrun was attacked by Somali pirates on June 27 2012 at position 14 23N 054 38E in Arabian sea by pirates aboard a brown coloured dhow with a white superstructure. Pirates fired at vessel with RPG. Security team on board of the vessel responded by fire, 3 pirates allegedly were killed during the fire exchange, reports Seanews Turkey. Vessel is en route from Eilat to Singapore, ETA 07.07.
