Third Canadian vessel in less than a month ran aground in Nunavut waters, Canada Arctic


Canadian tanker Nanny ran aground in Simpson Strait, Nunavut, Arctic region, on September 1. Salvage under way, no spill reported. In Nunavut waters on August 8 ran aground tanker Mokami, refloated same day. Cruise ship Clipper Adventurer ran aground in Nunavut waters on August 27.
