Two Vessels Ran Aground, Philippines

On August 27, 2010 at 11:00pm, MV Sea Ford 2 ran aground at vicinity Iloilo River entrance. Said vessel was loaded with 1,326.694 metric tons of steel bars from PNOC Batangas, skippered by Mario Mula of 467.98 gross tons/249 NT owned/operated by Sea Ford Shipping Lines Incorporated with business address at Bacolod Top Corporation Building, Reclamation Area, Bacolod.
Ship management is waiting for the highest tide for possible pull out of said vessel. Another subject, on August 28, 2010 at 2:20am, MV Super Shuttle Ferry 23 also ran aground at vicinity of Iloilo River entrance. Said RORO vessel came from Bacolod City skippered by Renato M Mindo of 195 GT/ 137 NT owned/operated by Super Shuttle RORO with business address Port Legend Tower, Fort Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City.
Said vessel ran aground along Iloilo River while about to conduct dredging operation. On August 28, 2010 at 2:00pm, MV Shuttle Ferry 23 successfully pulled out said vessel from her grounding position.
Both vessels aren’t in any reference database.
