Cruise liner Vistamar out of winter schedule thanks to fishing net

All winter cruises 2010/11 of the "Vistamar" had to be cancelled after a fishing net damaged one of the propellers. The ship will be repaired from end of November until start of February 2011 according to Plantours & Partner in Bremen. For this purpose special sparre parts have to be manufactured in advance. At this opportunity also a general overhaul is to be carried out. Passengers who intended to travel aboard the "Vistamar“ may change to a replacement vessel on a similar route or cancel their cruise as well. On Feb 3, 22011, the first cruise after the yard stay is intended to start from Palma de Mallorca towards the Canary Islands and Cap Verdes.
