Fire on Maersk Tukang, two injured


Bremerhaven (dpa / lni) - A fire in the engine room of a 330-foot container ship in Bremerhaven on July 26, left two crew members with burns on their faces. The two men were, according to the police on Tuesday brought to a hospital. The crew of the MS "Maersk Tukang" were able to extinguish the flames before the arrival of the fire department. The fire was probably caused by a defective generator. Maersk Tukang - IMO 9334686, dwt 107269, capacity 8400 TEU, built 2007, flag Singapore, manager  A.P. Moller-Maersk Group.
