Two tankers of Murmansk Shipping Co left Murmansk to transit Northern Sea Route West-East direction and deliver some 27,000 mt diesel oil to Chukotka ports Pevek and Provideniya, in ice convoy with two nuclear icebreakers, Rossia and Taymyr. On July 16 or 17 m/t Varzuga contacted with m/t Indiga in heavy ice, with restricted visibility. Indiga damaged in aft area, but underway.
