Accidents On 09-FEB-2011 at 03:15 LT, Tanker 'JOSE BRIGHT' was boarded and robbed while at the OPL Anchorage in position 01 20 8 N, 104 20 5 E, 4.5nm SW of Tanjung Ramunia, Johor, Malaysia on bearing 289. Five pirates armed with knives and handguns boarded the Tanker and held the Chief Engineer and Duty AB hostage while they stole ship stores, crew monies and other personal items. Pirates escaped in a boat wating alongside. No crew were seriously injured during the incident which was reported to authorities.
