Ferry TRANS-ASIA 2 with 619 passengers on board lost propulsion on Apr 17, in waters of Polo Point, Plaridel, Misamis Occidental, northen tip pf Mindanao Island, Philippines. According to Coast Guard statement, propeller got entangled in ropes, shutting starboard engine. Vessel left Ozamis, Misamis Occidental province, in the mornig, bound for Cebu. All passengers were evacuated, no injures reported.
