VLOC STELLAR COSMO to call Cape Town with faulty generator and fuel shortage

VLOC STELLAR COSMO, engaged in SAR on STELLAR DAISY disaster site, was taken from SAR on Apr 12, and heads for Cape Town. According to available information, vessel is suffering problems with generator. She was to sail directly to port of destination, Qingdao, China, but understood, will have to call Cape Town, not because of faulty generator only, but also, because of shortage of fuel. Vessel left Brazilian port Ponta Da Madeira on Mar 22, was off South Africa when ordered to turn back and take part in STELLAR DAISY SAR.
